On 16 March 2023, the Federal Court of Australia approved the settlements in the Ethicon / Johnson & Johnson and the Boston Scientific class actions. A copy of Justice Lee’s judgment and the orders approving the settlements are available for download.
Following a tender process overseen by a Referee, former Chief Justice of the Federal Court James Allsop AO SC, the Federal Court has appointed JGA Saddler, BDO and Slater & Gordon as the Settlement Administrators. A copy of the Referee’s report and the orders appointing the Settlement Administrators are available for download.
